Pre-School (Age 2)

This 45 minute weekly class includes creative movement, pre-ballet and tumbling.  From our magic animal play to our pretend pizza parties in tumbling, we are sure your child will look forward to spending time each week in dance class.  Students are encouraged to enjoy the world of imagination through song and dance!

Leotard, tights, and white ballet slippers required.

Beginner I

An introduction to dance for beginning dancers ages 3-4.  Ballet basics, creative movement and tumbling will be the focus of this program.  Magical music and creative play and movement will surely challenge and stimulate our younger beginners.

Leotard, tights, white ballet and tap shoes required.

Beginner II

For our beginner 5-7 year olds, we offer a 1-hour class that combines Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop!  This class moves quickly and keeps everyone excited about excelling in his or her dance education.  French terminology is introduced, structured rhythm combinations and timing lessons in Tap class and basic skills are introduced in Jazz and Hip Hop!  A wonderful class for school age children.

Advanced Beginner / Teen

Students are introduced and challenged in this program.  Each class combines Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop styles.  The program motivates dancers and helps them achieve not only dance technique, but gain confidence and style!

Leotard, Tights, Black Mary Jane Tap Shoes and Black Jazz Shoes required.

Primary I, II, III

Classes are for experienced dancers ages 4-8.  Each level is created to stimulate the dancers and promote enjoyment of dance.  Classes combine Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop, and will continue to advance the student in technique while also creating an atmosphere of fun and excitement.  A natural progression and advancement for the young and experienced dancer.  Teaching props are used to add that special DP flair to the classroom.

Intermediate Level

This 1 1/2 hour class is the next step in advancement.  A concentration of center work will develop stronger technique and flexibility.  More advanced combinations are taught improving mental and physical agility and grace.  This dance level offers high energy classes and promotes physical health.  We recommend that students begin taking an extra Ballet Technique Class to advance the student into the next level of dance.  Our dancers love this exciting program and acquire self-confidence while enjoying the world of dance!

Performance Companies

This is a wonderful and challenging program for the experienced dancer that is interested in joining our performance program.  Advanced combinations and stretches, as well as working on performance skills.  An excellent dance opportunity for the dancer that wants to be challenged to the next level of dance.  We strongly recommend that students take an extra Ballet Technique Class.

Hip Hop Classes

Fun filled classes where dancers can learn the latest Hip Hop moves and technique while promoting physical health and agility.  Combinations encourage the dancers to be creative and promote their own style of cool!  Classes are designed for each age level and careful consideration is used in selecting music and choreography.

Loose fitting clothes and plain, Low-Top Tennis Shoes are required.

Ballet Classes

Offered for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Levels.

Please contact the office for student placement.  Classes range from 1, 1 1/2 to 2 hours.  Extra classes are also offered for Pre-Pointe, Intermediate Pointe and Advanced Pointe.

Solid Colored Leotard, Pink Tights and Pink Split-Sole Ballet Shoes are required.

Competition Program

Dance Productions offers one of the finest competition programs in the Southeast.  It is recognized for a standard of excellence throughout the country.  If your child is interested in joining this exciting group of young dancers, please contact the office.  Our "Summer Boot Camp" will begin the week of August 10th.  Guest artists and choreographers will share a week of excitement with our dancers.
